Hot Mess/TWU Free Clinic

We are attending the TWU game and free clinic this Saturday 04/05 after our practice that morning. Brad and I have taken our girls before and it's a great experience to show the girls with hard work and determination the game is competitive, positive, challenging, strength building and most important fun. Also going together as a team helps grow the team closer and the closer they are the more powerful they become as a team. Below is a link to TWU website with the info. The league also sent out an email this last week with the info as well.

Hot Mess
Good morning to all. I hope each of you were safe and unharmed last yesterday/last night. Doubtlessly, frightening weather. 

All things being equal we are planning on a fun but effective scrimmage practice tomorrow morning at 10 am at our usual field at the middle school. This practice has the caveat that the filed dries enough today. 

Unfortunately we have not had the means this season to practice as much as we need and like. The upside to this is that the girls seem to mesh and play well together naturally (in my opinion). 

In the event we have to cancel practice tomorrow, please take the girls to a batting cage if possible for at least one round of practice. Remind them to line up their knuckles properly and execute a quick bat. They know the technique and only need some practice with it. If possible a simple game of catch is a great exercise. Throws and catches ranging from 45- 60 is a preferred goal. The idea here is making a throw the receiver can catch/field
