Girls T-Ball
LEAYSA Softball offers T-Ball for girls ages 3-4. Players born in 2021 and 2022, are eligible to play in this division for the FALL 2025 season.
Refund Policy
Refunds will not be issued after teams are formed. The refund deadline for FALL 2025 is Aug 15th.
Refunds are to be requested by sending an email to the registrar at registrar@leaysa-softball.com.
All refunds are subject to a processing fee of $15.00
In the unlikely event that the league cancels the entire season (COVID-19, natural disaster or other unprecedented event), refunds may be issued at the discretion of the league.
Softball Divisions
4U T-ball – 50 minute time limit; players hit off a tee; no scores/standings kept; instructional league
6U Modified Coach Pitch – 50 minute time limit; 3 coach pitches and 3 swings off tee (or any combination of 6 attempts to put the ball in play); no scores/standings kept; instructional league
8U Modified Kid Pitch – 70 minute time limit; kid pitcher pitches normal strike count up to maximum of 3 balls; coach pitcher inherits strike count; pitching distance 30 feet; no steals allowed; scores/standings kept
10U Kid Pitch – 70 minute time limit; straight kid pitch; pitching distance 35 feet; stealing is limited to one base per pitch
12U Kid Pitch – 70 minute time limit; follows USA rules; pitching distance 40 feet
14U & 16U Kid Pitch – 70 minute time limit; follows USA rules; pitching distance 43 feet
LEAYSA Softball rules are governed by USA Softball Official Rules of Fast Pitch Softball, with league approved exceptions/modifications.
