LEAYSA Volleyball offers volleyball to girls ages 7-14. The division is determined by the players current age as of 9/01 of the current school year. The Fall 2023 Season is the school year 2023-2024.
Players are allowed to "play up" one full league year without the need for league approval. Exception to this rule: Entire teams wishing to play up together must understand that they cannot "drop" back down intact the following season without their players being dispersed throughout the league.
8U (7 & 8 year olds)
10U (9 & 10 year olds)
12U (11 & 12 year olds)
14U (13 & 14 year olds)
LEAYSA Volleyball is a recreational league that strives to grow players in the sport of volleyball. The goal is to have teams formed that have balanced skill levels and ages. With that the LEAYSA Board will be forming all teams for the Season.
Player Protection
Coaches must turn in a player protection form for any and all players they would like to return to their team from a previous season. The form can be found under 'Documents' tab. This form must be signed by the coach and the parent of the player. All forms are due to be turned into the Board prior to team formation. Coaches may protect as many players as they would like, keeping in mind to balance their team for fair and competitive play.
Draft
The draft will take place after final registration day. All player protection forms must be turned in by then. All forms will be reviewed, and players will be moved to the appropriate teams.

**Note: Any player registered during late registration will be added to the waitlist. If a team has an open spot, the player will be added and removed from the waitlist. The only other way to be removed from the waitlist is if a coach player protects your player or you sign up to coach your child's team.
No refunds will be given once registration closes for each season. All refund requests prior to registration close must be sent by email to the LEAYSA Volleyball President at president@leaysa-volleyball.com
