We are expanding the Cheer Board for next year. If you are interested in volunteering for a position on the Cheer Board or for coaching, please download an application to email to cheer@leaysa.com!

Fall Cheerleading Information:

Practices will begin on July 13th promptly at 6:00 pm. We will be at Marion Field (behind Lakeside Jr. High). Since it's our first practice, please try to be early so you can help your child find her coach. With the heat, please be sure your daughter has at least one bottle of water. Your daughter should have not be wearing any jewelry and needs tennis shoes and appropriate clothing-no jean shorts. You are encouraged to attend the practices, there's plenty of seating in the stands! :-)

We are still looking for some team parents. If you are interested in helping out your daughter's squad, please let us know! We will need you to complete a volunteer application.

Cheer Camp is coming up soon! We will be going to Express Cheer, in Frisco, on Saturday, July 24th. Children in the 5/6 and 7/8 divisions will be at camp from 9:00 am -12:30 pm and the older girls will be there from 1:15-5:15 pm. The cost for cheerleaders is $15 and they will learn: chants, a dance, a cheer, stunts, motions and jumps. It is NOT mandatory that all girls attend, but it is highly recommended. More information will be given out at practice next week.

With this Texas heat, we're encouraging you to send your daughter with plenty of cold water or Gatorade. Please take a few minutes to read the following guidelines that could prevent your child from overheating.
