Coaches get a 50% discount on registration fees for their kid
Team names are college-themed and chosen by coaches.
Coaches can reserve/protect up to four players onto their team. (See Player Protection Form in the rules/documents section)
All players are drafted except for protected players.
10U/12U get 2 one-hour practices per week, 6U/8U gets 1 one and half hour practice per week at LEISD facilities. The LEAYSA Basketball Board will make the schedule for the teams, coaches will have input to request certain days/times/locations, but those are request only.
Each coach will receive a coach's shirt that will be required to be wore at games on Saturdays.
Only one head coach and one assistant coach per team.
Coaches are required to assign a team parent per team.
LEAYSA Basketball follows USA Basketball Rules.
